The most effective way to prevent chronic disease and vaccine preventable diseases is to keep routine screenings and immunizations up to date. We offer the following services by appointment for qualified individuals as a way to keep our residents healthy.
Blood Pressure Checks
- Our Public Health Nurses are available to conduct FREE blood pressure checks for Franklin residents.
Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Testing
First Wednesday of Month / Health Department / 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Third Wednesday of Month / Health Department / 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Since the Federal Government has made significant changes to the criteria for obtaining vaccines through a Health Department, all immunizations on hand are subject to vaccine availability, the Wisconsin Immunization Program guidelines, and our medical orders.
To determine your eligibility for vaccines or to schedule an appointment, call us during normal business hours. Fees may apply for select vaccines.
Influenza (flu) immunizations are offered to residents each year for a nominal fee begining in late September and continuing through the entire flu season. For an updated listing of flu clinic dates and times, see our Flu Clinic page.
NOTE: All Screenings and Clinics are by appointment.
