The City's Property Tax Web Portal has information available for review AFTER property tax bills have been produced, and is updated after property tax payments are processed. For current year assessment information, go to the Assessor Department page.
To use this Web Portal, enter complete Owner, Address, or Parcel ID information and click "Search for Parcels" or hit "Enter" and you will be directed to that property tax record containing general parcel information. If only partial Name or Address information is known, enter the partial information and click "Search for Parcels" or hit "Enter" and all parcels containing that information will be displayed. Click on the relevant parcel to display further information.
To get tax or tax payment information, click on the "Taxes" tab in the left-hand column.
To get assessment information, click on the "Assessments" tab in the left-hand column.
To print a copy of the Property Tax Bill or to see the breakdown of gross taxes, click on the "Taxes" tab and click "Print Tax Details" or "Print Tax Bill" at the bottom left-hand side of the page.
Property tax payments are accepted as soon as tax bills are available in December and until July 31st of the following year. Tax bill payments are due either in full by January 31st or in installments with 50% due January 31st, 25% due March 31st, and 25% due on May 31st.
**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be advised that the City of Franklin web portal displays delinquent prior year taxes. That display is correct only until July 31st of the year following billing. The City's system is not able to reflect payments made subsequent to July 31st of the year after the property taxes are billed. Those payments are collected directly by Milwaukee County. For periods later than July 31st of each year, the responsibility for collection of property taxes lies with Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Please check Milwaukee County's Website for a current status of delinquent taxes, if any, for a property.**

- Locate the Property Address Section (in the middle of the page on the left hand side) – Enter your house number only and hit enter.
- Select your property from the list that appears at the bottom.
- Near the top – select the “Taxes” tab
- Near the bottom select the “Make an Online Payment” button.
- You will then be on the US Bank website.
- There is a 50 cent processing fee.
- Transactions occur the next business day – no same day service.
- Follow the remaining prompts. An email payment confirmation will be sent to you.
- Note that the payment website is NOT mobile-device friendly.
Note that you can schedule all your installment payments at one time once you are on the US Bank website. Taxpayer is responsible to have funds available in their account on the date of the payment.
Regardless of how payment is made, a receipt is available online after payment is posted. Follow the above prompts and locate the payment information on the right-hand side of the ‘Taxes’ tab. All payments are listed there.
