Mission:  To protect and promote health and prevent disease and injury in the Franklin community.

Vision:  Create a healthy Franklin where all residents are able to meet their highest potential. 

We are available for information and referral Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 414-425-9101.  For after hours public health concerns, please call the Franklin Police Dispatch at 414-425-2522 and the appropriate public health official will be notified. 

We offer the residents of Franklin a wide range of programs, services, and educational resources.  The City of Franklin does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in its programs or activities.

We are committed to making our community safer, healthier, and more resilient by planning for emergencies before they happen.

Environmental Health

Our staff help limit exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents in the air, water, soil, and other environmental media.

Licensing and Inspection

We are an Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection and conduct all licensing and inspections of food establishments, hotels, motels, and public pools.
