W. Puetz Road Pathway Project
        

S. 76th Street Reconstruction (S. County Line Road to S. Creekview Court)

Milwaukee County Department of Transportation is nearing the completion of S. 76th Street (CTH U) reconstruction project from S. County Line Road to just north of S. Creekview Court.  W. Oakwood Road intersection is now open to eastbound/westbound traffic. S. 76th Street (CTH U) remains closed.  The project is scheduled to be completed by mid October 2025.  Motorists are encouraged to use W. Rawson Avenue, I-94/41 North-South, and County Road K to get around the closures.  See Project Update.
        


WIS 100 Resurfacing Project: 60th Street to St. Martins Road
  • Friday, October 3, to Monday, October 6, 2025 local east-west travel across the County U (76th Street) intersection will be restricted while crews pave the east portion of the WIS 100 and County U intersection. Bidirectional traffic in the southbound lane of County U will be maintained for motorists with destinations on WIS 100 west of County U. Motorists with destinations on WIS 100 east of County U are encouraged to access WIS 100 from 60th Street.
     
  • Beginning September 29, 2025, crews are scheduled to begin reconstructing the intersection of Puetz Road and WIS 100 where this intersection WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 MONTH.
     
  • WIS 100 remains closed to all non-local traffic between 60th Street and Puetz Road through the end of November 2025 while crews reconstruct the roadway. Motorists with destinations within the work zone will be directed to drive on the newly constructed WIS 100 driving lanes.
     
  • Motorists with destinations between Puetz Road and 92nd Street are encouraged to use Elm Court and 92nd Street to access WIS 100.
     
  • Motorists are encouraged to use WIS 36 (Loomis Road), County BB (Rawson Avenue), and WIS 241 (27th Street) to get around the closure.
