ST. MARTINS LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVENT is held along St. Martins Road (County Hwy. MM) and Church Street the Sunday before Labor Day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Labor Day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday of Labor Day Weekend - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday of Labor Day Weekend - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Vendors at this fair sell an assortment of merchandise including fruits, vegetables, arts, crafts, clothing, shoes, hardware and household items, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, gift items, dried flowers and arrangements, furniture, antiques, and other miscellaneous merchandise. In addition, vendors offer a large variety of prepared foods. Music groups also entertain the crowd throughout the fair.
To sell or entertain at the St. Martins Labor Day Weekend fair, vendors and entertainers must fill out an application to obtain a permit from the City of Franklin. The permit entitles the holder to sell goods and services or operate entertainment or amusement for either a single space up to 15 feet of street frontage or a space of over 15 feet and up to 30 feet of frontage at the fair; additional space after 30 feet is available at a per foot cost. Permits must be purchased through the Office of the City Clerk, City of Franklin, 9229 W. Loomis Road, or by calling 414-425-7500.
The City does not provide spaces for vendor booths at this Fair. Anyone interested in selling at the fair must go out to the fair area and inquire at the businesses and homes for space rentals. The City does not keep a list of persons having space for rent.
