Fireworks Display Permit Application

No person shall possess, manufacture, use, display, discharge, or sell any fireworks without a permit.

Fireworks displays shall be required to be conducted in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in NFPA 1123, Code for Fireworks Displays.

Responsible Party must provide proof of ATF licensure to store and transport explosives under 27 CFR § 555.11.

Responsible Party must provide Certificate of Insurance indemnifying the City of Franklin as an additional insured in the amount of not less than $1,000,000.

Fee Schedule:

  • $50 and is non-refundable.

See Chapter 133-14 of the Franklin Municipal Code relating to Fireworks/Miscellaneous Use Provisions.

Note: Permits will only be granted upon approval from BOTH the Franklin Fire Department and the City of Franklin Licensing Committee. If you have any questions call the Fire Department at 414-425-1420.

Submit Application to the Franklin Fire Department at 8901 W. Drexel Avenue.  Make checks payable to the City of Franklin.
