A Bartender Operator's License is required in order to serve fermented malt beverages and intoxicating liquor. The license is only valid within the City of Franklin and is valid from the date of issuance until midnight of June 30th of the year the license is issued.

The license application, payment, and proof of "Responsible Beverage Server Training Course" must be brought to the City Clerk's Office, 9229 W. Loomis Road, during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Several members of the City staff are Notary Publics.
