Police Auxiliary Unit

The Franklin Police Auxiliary Unit is a team of dedicated community volunteers who assist the Police Department during emergencies, special events, and civic functions. Auxiliary members provide valuable support with traffic and crowd control, community outreach, and public safety at events such as the Fourth of July Celebration, St. Martin’s Fair, and National Night Out.

Members must be at least 18 years old, of good moral character, and able to meet training and service requirements, including a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service each year. Auxiliary members are an important part of our department’s partnership with the community.
