The Community Resource Officer (CRO) is a sworn law enforcement position within the Franklin Police Department responsible for acting as a liaison to the community, assisting the citizenry and local businesses with concerns and crime prevention initiatives. The CRO oversees numerous community outreach programs and works closely with community groups, civic organizations, various government entities, businesses, and other community stakeholders. The CRO also develops and provides training and presentations to those members of the community.
