Solid Waste Collection & Recycling
Weekly refuse, weekly recycling, and 4 times a year leaves and brush collection is provided to all single-family, two-family, and condominium ownership multi-family units. The collection service is outsourced to a private contractor; the current contract being with Johns Disposal Services of Whitewater. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA OF THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY, THE RESIDENTIAL BRUSH DROP-OFF/RECYCLING CENTER ADJACENT TO THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY. This includes the gated area for brush drop-off, recycling drop-off, and used motor oil, antifreeze, and oil filters. Mulch is also not available while the reconstruction of Highway 100 is occurring.
