Due to an upcoming retirement, the City of Franklin is currently looking for a part-time Maintenance Custodian to work 20 hours per week.

Duties:  Performs a variety of tasks in the custodial care and maintenance of City buildings (but predominantly the Franklin Public Library).  Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis. View full job description

Education/Experience:  High School education or GED with a minimum of 1 year of related experience is required.  Knowledge of basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repair is required. 

Starting Wages:  Starting pay is $19.36 to $22.26/hour, depending on qualifications.

Hours:  Monday thru Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. (would consider 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.).

Benefits:  Position will receive pro-rated vacation, holiday, sick and personal time off.  No insurance or pension benefits are provided.
