Part-Time Weekends

Due to a retirement, the City of Franklin is currently looking for a part-time Custodian to work 10 hours per week at the Franklin Public Library.  

Duties:  Performs a variety of custodial tasks in the upkeep of the facility.  Duties will include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, snow removal from sidewalks, changing out light bulbs, setting up meeting rooms, picking up litter from outside the building, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. May have some assigned duties at Franklin City Hall and at the Franklin Law Enforcement Center. View full job description

Education/Experience:  High School education or GED with a minimum of 1 year of related experience is required.  A valid driver's license and use of a car is mandatory.  

Starting Wages:  $19 to $23/hour, depending on qualifications.

Hours:  Saturday & Sunday, 5 hours per day (approximately 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., but can be flexible).
