The City of Franklin is currently looking to fill a new position of Accreditation Coordinator in our Police Department.
Duties: Coordinates the accreditation project by working closely with Command Staff to promote best practices, maintain documentation, and support policy development and continuous organizational improvement. Education/Experience: High School education or GED required with Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1 year of related clerical or program coordination experience preferred; knowledge of law enforcement operations/procedures preferred, excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task, work independently, self-motivated, computer proficient, and excellent communicator (both verbal and written) are all required.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day. Hours will normally be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with some flexibility to attend some evening community engagement events.
Starting Wages: $23 to $26/hour, depending on qualifications. This is currently a grant-funded position with appropriations awarded for 2 years. We hope to continue the position after the initial 2-year grant, but cannot guarantee continuation beyond 2027.
