The City of Franklin has an opening in the Inspection Services Department for a full-time Secretary to begin in approximately mid-May.
Duties Include: Answering Inspection Services Department phones and directing calls; customer service; performing clerical work including preparation of applications for permits; performing preliminary checks of plans, surveys, and other items submitted for permit applications; scheduling inspections to be made by department staff; entering information into various computer systems, etc. View full job description.
Qualifications: High School education or GED with 2+ years of related experience. Proficient skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, database software, and using the Internet are required. Excellent customer service skills/experience is REQUIRED.
Salary Range: $18.37 to $23.88/hour, depending on qualifications.
Hours: Normal hours are Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
