The City of Franklin is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department.  

Duties:  The successful applicant will have primary duties of processing accounts payable, including entering invoices, processing checks, investigating payment disputes, processing W9’s, etc.  They will also be the backup to our payroll clerk, prepare miscellaneous invoicing and journal entries, along with a variety of other accounting related duties.

Qualifications:  Experience processing accounts payable, processing payroll (preferably using ADP), and using BS&A accounting software is preferred, but not required.  2 years of accounting related experience is required.

Hours: The City will consider applicants looking for anywhere from 19 to 40 hours per week.  Benefits will be dependent on part-time vs. full-time status.

Salary: Approximately $19.60 - $28.80/hour, depending on qualifications.
