Text-to-911

The Franklin Emergency Communication Center has begun to accept text (SMS) messages for those in need of help who may find it safer to text than to place a call.  Text-to-911 is NOT meant to replace a voice 911 call in an emergency; but can provide a different method of contact in an emergency situation where it may be safer not to speak.  For further details and questions, see Text-to-911.

Special Needs Registry

The Franklin Police Department recognizes that some members of our community may have special needs or may react differently when coming into contact with police officers or firefighters during an emergency situation.  The Special Needs Registry is available for all residents requiring special needs resulting from a physical, emotional, or medical condition which will assist emergency responders in providing a more informed response to those with special needs during an emergency.

Camera Registry Program

Residents and business owners can help in combating crime by registering their video surveillance system with the Franklin Police Department through the Camera Registry Program.  The Police Department will NOT have direct access to your camera surveillance system, but would simply request your help with any potential video evidence.

Please wait while we gather your results.
