Alderman Solomon has been a resident of the City of Franklin for 15+ years.  He is married to his wife Helen and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

He is presently retired after 31 years as a manager at Ameritech which involved experience in budgets, planning, project management, technical marketing support, and supervision.

Past Community Participation includes:

• Chairperson of the Middle School Planning Commission.
• Chairperson of the Long-Range Planning Commission.
• Member of the Strategic Planning Commission.
