St. Martins Fair

On March 21, 2017, the Franklin Common Council approved adoption of Ordinance No. 2017-2262, which established the "St. Martins Every Summer Monday Market Fair" to replace the St. Martins Fair that only took place the first Monday of each month. 

The St. Martins Every Summer Monday Market Fair will now take place and be centrally located at the St. Martins Market Square Gazebo, 11230 W. Franklin Street, every Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. annually from the second Monday in June through the first Monday in October.   

THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES TO THE ST. MARTINS LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVENT.  This will continue to be held along St. Martins Road on the Sunday before Labor Day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Labor Day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.    

Selling Hours:

Every Monday (2nd Monday in June thru 1st Monday in October)-3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday of Labor Day Weekend - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Monday of Labor Day Weekend - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vendors at this fair sell an assortment  of merchandise including clothing, shoes, hardware and household items, paper products, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, sporting equipment, gift items, dried flowers and arrangements, furniture, antiques, shrubs, flowers, fruits and vegetables, prepared food, and other miscellaneous merchandise.  Special music groups also entertain the crowd throughout the Labor Day weekend event.

To sell or entertain at the St. Martins Every Summer Monday Market Fair or the Labor Day Weekend fair, vendors and entertainers must fill out an application to obtain a permit from the City of Franklin.  The permit entitles the holder to sell goods and services or operate entertainment or amusement for either a single space up to 15 feet of street frontage (available at Labor Day Fair only) or a space of over 15 feet and up to 30 feet of frontage at the fair; additional space after 30 feet is available for $5 per extra foot.  Permits must be purchased through the Office of the City Clerk, City of Franklin, 9229 W. Loomis Road, or by calling 414-425-7500.

The City does not provide spaces for vendor booths at this Fair.  Anyone interested in selling at the fair must go out to the fair area and inquire at the businesses and homes for space rentals.  The City does not keep a list of persons having space for rent.
