Your gift will mean the world to the students served by Northwoods University this year, and to the faculty and staff who are preparing them to face the future with confidence. Your gift will also help fund the various initiatives supported by our wonderful alumni.
The Northwoods University Alumni Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Therefore, according to IRS regulations, your gift could be tax-deductible UNLESS you are receiving a benefit from the gift, such as airline miles, or purchasing an item of value, such as tickets to an event, i.e., Homecoming. If you are receiving a benefit from the gift, your receipt will indicate how much of the gift is tax-deductible. Depending on your tax filing status and size of donation, your gift may not be entirely deductible. Therefore, you should always check with your CPA to determine the tax deductibility of your gift.
