Welcome to The Graduate School at NorthwoodsUniversity. Opportunities for graduate study have been offered to students at Northwestern since 1935. Appointments to the Graduate Faculty are made by the President, upon recommendation by the Dean of The Graduate School.
The Graduate Faculty determines the conditions for admission to The Graduate School, for admission to candidacy for the degrees of doctor of philosophy, and for awarding of master's and doctoral degrees. The Graduate Faculty also recommends for these degrees students that have satisfied the appropriate requirements.
The NU Graduate School oversees graduate working leading to the following advanced academic degress.

The first step is to complete an application, available from the Admissions office. This application will be reviewed by Admissions as well as the respective school. You may expect a response within four weeks of receipt of your aplication.
