Lions Legend Park

EVENT SCHEDULE (will be posted closer to festival date)

Plan to attend this year's 2-day Franklin Civic Celebration in Lions Legend Park, July 3rd and 4th!  Food, carnival rides, kids activities, and plenty of entertainment will be provided for all ages!  July 4th will kick off with the annual Children's and Main Parade and end with a bang with the dazzling fireworks!  See complete Event Schedule (will be posted once available). 

July 4th Parade:

Children’s Parade - 10:30 a.m.; Main Parade - 11 a.m.  If interested in entering a group to participate in the Main parade, please request a registration packet now by calling Jeanine Olson at 414-425-7789 or via email at jeaninemolson@sbcglobal.net.  All local area scout troops, churches, youth groups, booster clubs, and civic organizations are encouraged to participate. Deadline for entry is June 15th.  No registration is required for the 10:30 a.m. Children’s parade. 

Entertainment:

Bands to perform will include:  The Toys, Pat McCurdy, 76 Juliet, and 33RPM. The spectacular fireworks display will begin promptly at 9:30 p.m. on July 4th!  

Volunteers:

If interested in volunteering at the Civic Celebration, please fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up form and mail it to the address on the form, scan and email it to pekopete@aol.com, or contact Pete Kosovich at 414-761-0888 after March 11th to register. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.  Sign up early to get your time slots reserved.

The Franklin Civic Celebrations Commission welcomes donations of any dollar amount. Any business or individual interested in giving a donation or sponsoring a specific event, band, or entertainer related to the festival, please contact Mike Reichl at 414-425-9653 or via email at mmspreichl@sbcglobal.net.
