South 27th Street Zoning Districts

Ordinance 2005-1842:  An Ordinance to amend the Unified Development Ordinance to amend the B-4 South 27th Street Business District to B-4 South 27th Street Mixed-Use Commercial District, to create the OL-1 Office Overlay District, the B-7 South 27th Street Mixed-Use Office District, the RC-1 Conservation Residence District and South 27th Street Design Overlay District.  This ordinance provides the district intent, district standards (landscape surface ratio requirements, lot area requirements, building setbacks, etc.) and the permitted, accessory, and special uses (idenfitied by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes) for each zoning district.  The Design Overlay District provides for additional design requirements (landscaping, parking, site design, architectural requirements) for properties in the South 27th Street Design Overlay District. 

  • B-4 South 27th Street Mixed-Use Commercial District (takes the place (eliminates) of the B-4 South 27th Street Business District)
  • B-7 South 27th Street Mixed-Use Commercial District
  • OL-1 Office Overlay District
  • RC-1 Conservation Residence District
  • South 27th Street Design Overlay District


CC City Civic Center District

Ordinance 2006-1897:  An Ordinance to amend the Unified Development Ordinance to amend the CC City Civic Center District.  This ordinance repealed and recreated the CC Civic Center District.  The ordinance defines the district intent, district standards (landscape surface ratio requirements, lot area requirements, building setbacks, etc.) and the permitted, accessory, and special uses (identified by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes).



OL-2 General Business Overlay District

Ordinance 2006-1887:  An Ordinance to amend the Unified Development Ordinance to create the OL-2 General Business Overlay District.  This ordinance created a zoning district which provided in part the application of the B-2 General Business District uses along with community and cultural centers as a special use, and B-2 district standards while retaining the underlying base zoning district.

Ordinance 2006-1900:  An Ordinance to amend the Unified Development Ordinance to amend the OL-2 General Business Overlay District.  This ordinance amended the OL-2 General Business District's maximum building height and permitted and special uses.

Ordinance 2007-1923:  An Ordinance to amend the Unified Development Ordinance to amend the OL-2 General Business Overlay District.  This ordinance amended the OL-2 General Business District's minimum parking setbacks.
