ATTENDANCE AT ALL 7 SESSIONS IS ENCOURAGED FOR THE GREATEST BENEFIT.  CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED.

Residents 60 and older are invited to participate in a 7-week workshop, “Stepping On”. This workshop can help seniors avoid a dangerous and costly fall so that they can keep doing the things they love. Our guest experts include a Physical Therapist, Pharmacist, Vision Expert, and Franklin Safety Officer.

Seniors will learn how to identify and remove or avoid fall hazards in the home and outside and how vision, medication, and footwear affect your risk of falling. Simple strength and balance exercises will be taught that will increase self-confidence and enhance your sense of independence.

Falls are not an inevitable part of aging. If you feel you have lost some strength and balance from limited activity, this may be “just the ticket.”
