July 4th Parade: Children’s Parade at 10:30 a.m.; Main Parade at 11 a.m. The Children's Parade is an annual tradition with the kids decorating their bikes, wagons, and strollers in patriotic red, white, and blue colors.  If interested in entering a group to participate in the Main parade, please request a registration packet now by calling Ann Adamski at 414-690-7340 or via email at  All local area scout troops, churches, youth groups, booster clubs, and civic organizations are encouraged to participate. Deadline for entry is June 15th. No registration is required for the 10:30 a.m. Children’s parade.  Thank you to all who sent in Veteran nominations for Grand Marshal of the 4th of July Parade.  All nominees are our HEROES and we truly thank all of our Veterans for their service and dedication to our great Country.  Joseph Lengyel, a WWII Veteran, was selected as Grand Marshal of this year's Franklin Civic Celebration Parade!   

Fireworks:  The spectacular fireworks display will begin promptly at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4th!

Entertainment: Bands/Entertainers to perform will include:  Bobby Friss Band, Bella Cain Band, Doo-Wop Daddies Band, Up All Night Band, Wisconsin Marching Band, and Brew City Wrestling.  See complete Entertainment Schedule here (will be posted when available). 

Local Vendors:  The Franklin Civic Celebration is also an opportunity for local vendors to display and sell their creations.  To learn more, contact Ann Adamski at 414-690-7340 or via email at

Volunteers: If interested in volunteering at the Civic Celebration, please fill out the attached Volunteer Sign-Up Form and mail it to the address on the form or scan and email it to, or signup at, or contact Pete Kosovich at 414-761-7664 to register. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old. Sign up early to get your time slots reserved.

Donations: The Franklin Civic Celebrations Committee welcomes donations of any dollar amount.  Any business or individual interested in giving a donation or sponsoring a specific event or entertainer related to the festival, please contact John Bergner at 414-881-5863 or via email at
